HOW TO DEAL WITH INSLEEPNESS?

Insomnia
Ailment that has become a disease that affects more and more social group of people. It is believed that as much as 35% of the world’s population can suffer from it to a greater or lesser extent.
Its causes can be various: stress, fast pace of life, overabundance of information, disturbed circadian rhythm caused by irregular times of activity and sleep, and blue light emitted by various types of screens / displays.
In addition, health problems of the digestive and respiratory systems (heartburn, night apnea) and the lack of fresh air and a suitable temperature for sleeping.
All this means that the chance of getting enough sleep is slim
Why is it worth taking care of the right dose of sleep?
Sleep is an integral part of our lives. We spend a third of our entire lives sleeping. Our body then regenerates after a tiring day, both physically and mentally. It’s also worth pointing out that while you sleep, your mind organizes everything that has happened throughout the day and what you’ve learned.

Symptoms of insomnia:

– problems with falling asleep alone,

– often lasting more than half an hour,

– frequent waking up at night

– too little sleep, resulting from waking up too early and having difficulty falling asleep again

– a dream after which we do not feel refreshed.

How can I cope with difficulty falling asleep?

First of all, it is worth taking care of physical activity. Even a few exercises (preferably 30-60 minutes) will help you fall asleep.

Another issue is the time of eating. We should make sure that our last meal is easily digestible and takes place no later than 2-3 hours before going to bed.

The next thing to do is relax after a hard day. For this purpose, it is worth taking a hot bath or spending time reading an interesting book.

The key issue is to prepare the bedroom itself, which should be ventilated and equipped with a comfortable bed, thanks to which we will provide adequate support for our body.

Also, do not forget about the pillow. Its task – like the mattress – is to provide proper body support. This is because it affects the cervical section, the incorrect support of which may translate into pain in the entire spine.

We recommend our article “How to choose a mattress?” in which you will find practical advice on choosing a mattress.
