HOW CAN I TAKE CARE OF A PEACE OF MIND DURING PREGNANCY?
The timing of pregnancy is remarkable. The changes that take place in the body of the future mother directly affect her well-being and the development of the child.
One of the more discussed issues at this time is the mum’s dream.
It has become a common belief in our society that a pregnant woman should lead a “frugal lifestyle”. Is this belief true?
Yes. However, remember not to go overboard.
First trimester of pregnancy
Citing research by the “American National Sleep Foundation”
as many as 75% of women confirmed that their sleep quality deteriorated significantly.
Its length itself has not changed or has increased.
During the first few months, expectant mothers may notice increased sleepiness. This is due to the increased production of progesterone: the hormone that makes our body calmer and sleepier.
During this period, the placenta and the fetus also develop. That is why experts especially recommend resting and giving up additional activities that strain the body.
Second trimester of pregnancy
In this period, insomnia occurs much less frequently or to a lesser degree than in the first and third trimesters. These are mainly problems with falling asleep, which result from the growing circumference of the abdomen, as well as changes resulting from the position of the internal organs themselves.
Third trimester of pregnancy
The biggest problem with insomnia occurs in the last trimester. It results mainly from the difficulty of finding a comfortable sleeping position, directly related to the size of the abdomen and the pains of the spine itself.
In addition, frequent going to the toilet, emerging breathing problems, stress before delivery and the baby’s movements do not make it any easier.

How to ensure a comfortable position while sleeping?
Pain in the spine, head, back or limbs make it difficult to fall asleep calmly. Relief in such a situation is provided by special pillows with an ergonomic shape. They help to ensure the appropriate position on the side, which is most recommended during pregnancy, especially sleeping on the left side with a slightly bent leg.
Pillows of any number and size are very helpful in finding a comfortable position. They can be arranged in many ways. One of them assumes that the first pillow is placed between the legs, the second, flat under the abdomen, and the third under the head. This position should provide a stable body support.
If, on the other hand, you feel like sleeping on your back, support your spine, neck and head with a pillow. You can also think of a little glow right up to your feet. Such support helps our body regenerate.
